spacious bedroom, tranquil decor, private parking
The Wi-Fi could use a serious upgrade!!! Having more books in the room might enhance the atmosphere a bit!!! A lounge area for relaxation would definitely improve the overall experience too!!!

Newminster Cottage was perfect for our 2-night stay! The room had a flat-screen TV, was beautifully decorated and bright, and we loved the cozy atmosphere. Paul was incredibly helpful, giving local tips and preparing a delicious breakfast that catered to our needs. The location was quiet, yet just a minute's walk from town, which we really appreciated.
No complaints at all.

perfect spot for exploring morpeth's charm and beauty
I loved how close this place was to both Sanderson Arcade, just a few steps away, and the Old Bakehouse Millennium Green Wildlife Garden, making it perfect for my leisurely strolls to enjoy the park views while soaking up the local atmosphere.

what a dissapointing experience! the so-called 'private bathroom' was way too cramped, and the service was shockingly slow. i would have expected at least a complimentary gesture for my troubles, but alas, nothing. almost thought about giving a good review, but just couldn’t due to the glaring issues.

We had a lovely welcome and Paul was so friendly throughout our visit, making our stay really enjoyable. The lounge and relaxation areas were great spots to unwind after a day out. The only minor hiccup was the Wi-Fi being a bit slow at times, but it didn’t take away from our experience. 😊
